Big Data Architect (f/m/d), Munich

YOUR TASKS

Advising our customers on the implementation or expansion of cloud or on-premise based Big Data architectures:

  • Analysis of requirements, conception and implementation
  • End-to-end implementation, from data integration to use in analytical models and operationalization
  • Processing and analysis of large, structured and unstructured data volumes based on scaling cloud infrastructures
  • Provision of data as a basis for management reporting and dashboards
  • Close collaboration with Data Scientists & Data Engineers for the creation of analytical models, predictive evaluations as well as the development of preventive countermeasures
  • Continuous submission of suggestions for improvements to increase the efficiency of already deployed Big Data solutions

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of experience with one of the major cloud platforms (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud or MS Azure) as well as with modern Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
  • Project experience with Cloud & Big Data architectures as Data Lake
  • Experience with real-time infrastructures e.g. with Kafka or comparable cloud services desirable
  • Very good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
  • Knowledge in Scala, Java, Python are advantageous
  • University degree or completed vocational training in the IT field with relevant professional experience
  • Basic willingness to travel (DACH)
  • Fluent in German and English
