2002-6200: Technical Migration Manager (m/w/d)

The migration manager will be entrusted to outline the overall migration/transformation strategy, develop migration wave plan and align the plan with OEs, relevant service areas and other stakeholders to execute end to end migration and transformation activities.

• Take a lead role to align and co-ordinate between XY and relevant Service Manager on XX side in order to prepare OE specific migration planning and execution timeline
• Steer service provider on discovery and detailed analysis for relevant OE in scope
• Manage and contribute OE Technical T&T specific risk & issue management process
• Prepare Migration Solution Blueprints documents and support OE boarding process
• Align stakeholders to prepare migration scenarios for selected applications into XY target landscape
• Align and co-ordinate with network and system architects come up with appropriate technical solution to migration OE legacy application infrastructure into FMO and/or Cloud solution
• Prepare and align all migration related firewall (FCC) and change management processes and follow up with relevant team to get them implemented in a timely manner
• Take a lead role in the migration cutover planning and co-ordinate and align all necessary XY & OE resources to support the migration
• Manage & co-ordinate with all other external teams (WPS, AGN, DCS etc.) resolve all migration related dependencies
• Use project management skills to resolve issues between various stakeholders during various Technical migration phases

• Excellent experience in datacenter consolidation and IT transformation projects (especially Oracle and Middleware Systems)
• Excellent knowledge of open systems (x86, pSeries etc. servers)
• Excellent knowledge of virtualization and cloud transformations
• Profound Migration Management / Project Management skills
• Basic IT operations and network skills
• Good knowledge about application migration & user access management processes
• Mainframe infrastructure migration experience is nice to have
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized/strong administrative skills
• Leadership & conflict Management skills
• English and German fluency (written and orally)
